BIOGRAPHIES David Jo, President David has spent 10 of his over 20 years in IT consulting as the President of Cypress Consulting. After 7 years of experience between two prominent Chicago accounting and law firms, he formed Cypress Consulting in 1994 and has provided consulting services for a number of small and medium sized companies in the Chicagoland area. David manages a staff of technology and program development experts and considers self-motivation and independence to be the most important characteristic for a staff consultant. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Studies and Economics from Northwestern University. Brian Blazek, V.P., Business Systems During his 23 years of working in information technology Brian has developed over a dozen large scale applications; consulted with 8 organizations and managed at least 20 projects including a complete re-design of an insurance eligibility and enrollment system. Brian has been a member of Cypress Consulting since 1998. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from DeVry Institute of Technology. Robert Prosser, V.P., Consulting Practice Robert has over 10 years of technical, network and systems experience. His prior work includes a strong background in consulting for financial institutions, focusing on employee training and network systems. His recent experience involves Internet based survey and data collection. Robert has been a member of Cypress Consulting since 1998. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from DeVry Institute of Technology. Michael Hamilton, Senior Developer Michael has been an IT professional for over 20 years. He started as a programmer for a large pharmaceutical company. Over the years, he has led many small and large projects focusing on both custom software development as well as integration of vendor-developed systems. These projects have spanned pharmaceutical data management, healthcare and factory automation. He is a database expert utilizing Oracle, Sybase and SQL Server databases for various projects. He joined Cypress in 2007. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in computer studies and mathematics from Northwestern University. Riza Gerona, Senior Analyst Riza has been a member of Cypress Systems Consulting, Inc. since 2002. In her experience she has planned, developed, tested, and documented computer programs, applying knowledge of programming techniques and computer systems. She acts as a single point of contact for the client and users to successfully identify, analyze and resolve issues. Riza received her Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with an emphasis in Applied Date Processing from Northern Illinois University. She is currently working towards an Associates In Applied Science Degree – Health Information Management from an accredited program by the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIM). She has over 120 hours of practicum in the private sector and currently working towards 240 hours in the public sector gaining experience and hands on education of the many technical and legal aspects of processing and maintaining health information. She is a member of the American Health Information Management Assocation (AHIMA) and Illinois Health Information Management Association (ILHIMA).
